License Plate Recognition
The Vega Smart line is the new ANPR camera, offering the latest technology in the market. It is built over a very performing base and allows high scalable, high end applications with the capacity of multiple vehicles per second. With its embedded license plate recognition, image analysis software, high resolution sensors and low power consumption, the Vega Smart cameras allow performance of highly innovative applications. This camera has two multicore processors with Linux processors and webserver on board.
The new LPR camera can be integrated/connected to external devices receiving vehicle class data from an external classifier (laser-scanner, radar, loops, etc.), tag identifier from RFID antenna and vehicle axels numbers. Thanks to the local buffering of information, the system is able to work, even with disruption of data connection.
The new context camera color sensor provides excellent quality images, even in low light conditions (from 25Lux) and is designed to detect and recognize reflective as well as non-reflective license plates.
