Tattile simplifies speed enforcement analysis to the core with the new Vega Smart Speed camera
With its new Tattile Vega Smart Speed camera system Tattile offers one of the most easiest to install and to operate systems on the market for speed enforcement. The system, which is no longer a pure ANPR camera but a genuine vehicle identification system, follows the maxim of current Tattile ITS products to provide all relevant algorithms inside the camera. The Tattile Vega Smart Speed system works with a 3D multi tracking radar that continuously monitors up to two traffic lanes at a maximum with of 7,5 meters and identifies the speed and the position of objects on the monitored area at speeds up to 250 km/h. If a vehicle violates the speed limit the embedded radar triggers the connected camera and a picture is taken of the vehicle and the license plate. All relevant information, namely date and hour, plate number and country, as well as the actual speed is then analyzed and can even be supplemented by a monochrome picture of the license plate and a monochrome or color context image of the vehicle. Subsequently, the embedded automatic number plate recognition does not require any time-consuming post-processing and all speed violation evidences can directly be addressed to the authorities in real time or stored on board.
Traffic Light and Speed Enforcement System
Moreover, the Smart Speed system is able not only to provide image and plates recognition to the violator, but to all transit vehicles. This capability is paramount to give traffic and tax authorities the additional benefit to perform tax and insurance control as well as traffic monitoring and vehicle tracking e.g. for crime enforcement. Alternatively, the data collected can be used for traffic analysis to optimize traffic flow. Optional features for the system include an embedded brand and vehicle color recognition as well as an optical classification. Furthermore, a HD streaming video line ensures continuous monitoring of the scene. Especially for inner-city applications the Tattile Smart Speed system can be combined with the Tattile Vega Smart TL2L red light enforcement system. In addition, all new Tattile ANPR systems are compatible to the new Tattile proprietary Easinstall App, a professional and safe App solution that tremendously facilitates installation and maintenance of new ANPR cameras as it allows any authorized user to remotely connect to the camera device.
